Supervisor

A Supervisor opportunity has arisen at our Lowestoft facility. The position will be required to lead and motivate a team of operational personnel at a safety critical site, ensuring that customer requirements are met in a safe, professional and timely manner.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Safety Management: ensuring teams compliance with safety protocols, work instructions and risk assessments. Operational Oversight: ensuring safe operations of plant equipment at all times. Resource Management: ensuring the planning and coordination of work activies, ensuring the team is adequately resourced and prepared. Rigging Loft Management.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership experience, promote and support a strong safety culture, have IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent. Operational experience in quayside environments. An effective communicator at all levels and have the ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

In addition to the above the following qualifications would be desirable (training available if necessary),

ECITB – Taking the Lead or an equivalent leadership certification.

Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) A qualification in lifting operations would be advantagous.

Experience in similar roles within the renewables and/or Oil & Gas industries is preferred.
