Peterson delivers an integrated logistics solution to support the offshore installation phase of two 700MW transformation platforms for TenneT’s Hollandse Kust (zuid) offshore grid.

An international energy services company approached Peterson looking for a trusted logistics partner that can deliver an integrated logistics solution that covers both land and sea operations for a major offshore project.
PETERSON APPROACH
Our team proposed a comprehensive range of solutions covering all aspects of logistics which included agency, procurement, warehousing, container and tank rental, customs, chartering of support vessels, helicopter services, and waste handling, delivered from the Port of Den Helder. Peterson has been operating the Southern North Sea Pool (SNS Pool) since 2002 delivered significant cost savings of 36% per year and 27Mkg CO2e savings per year for ten major operators. Our client would benefit from the shared economy model by pooling and sharing cargo runs resulting in significant cost savings, planning flexibility, and reduction in CO2 emissions.
DELIVERABLES
Ultimately, our proposal was accepted by the client, and we were awarded the logistics contract as the client’s preferred logistics partner. We are currently in the process of delivering the comprehensive range of services as we support the client’s various teams in the offshore installation phase of two 700MW transformation platforms for TenneT’s Hollandse Kust (zuid) offshore grid.
